Gray Day

------------------------------
Tuesday's Neutral Week challenge prompt is gray. Should be easy, right? I have a TON of gray clothing in my closet!

And yet, I absolutely missed the boat on this one, because throwing a gray sweater on does not a gray based neutral outfit make. But I'm going with it, anyway. I couldn't really find any gray bottoms that looked ok with the sweater, and I really wanted to wear the sweater. So, there you have it. My dressing logic...

Kind of frightening, getting a glimpse inside my head, huh?

Button-up: Land's End Canvas
Sweater: Gap
Skirt: Calvin Klein (from Macy's)
Shoes: Nine West
Tights: Hue (from DSW)

  1. I like that sweater - I used to have one that was similar and I sent it on down the line not long ago, but wishing I hadn't, because it would be warm! The pop of blue sticking out is a nice touch too!

  2. Love the layering of the sweater and collared top. As long as you have one gray thing on, it totally counts!

  3. Not bad logic at all! I love the layered tops. I'm also a bit biased because I wore light denimy blues and grey today too.

  4. I love how you styled the grey sweater with the button up underneith...that sweater looks so cozy, but chic with the pencil skirt!

  7. This outfit is adorable! I love the unexpected blue shirt underneath! Typically, I find it uncomfortable to wear a button down under anything...but it's such a cute look and you made it work so well....I might give it another try.
