Long Weekend

So, I took this long weekend, and I used it to it's fullest extent. Meaning, I went to the lake and did absolutely nothing productive for two and a half days...unless you count hitting up the outlet mall 4th of July sale as something productive (which, I totally do, of course...).

Then, I came home on Monday and spent the afternoon unpacking, doing laundry, and repacking, because we're all leaving for Cincinnati on Friday afternoon, and this is a busy week for me at work, so I needed to get as much done today as I could. After the weekend in Cincinnati, B and I are continuing on to Indiana to spend a few days with my parents, so my suitcase is...large, to say the least.

Anyway, the upshot of all of this traveling/family time may be that I'm going to be scarce around the internets for the next week or two. I plan to pop in here and there (and I'll probably pre-schedule some posts along the way), but try not to miss me too much, ok?

  1. Is the dress navy? It looks sort of black in the first pic, but navy in the last. Anyways, if it's navy, I love the lighter blue cardigan with it! And if it's black, I still love the light blue cardigan with it. =)

We'll miss you in the blogosphere, but we'll be here when you get back!

  2. Ooooh, I'm so glad you had such a nice, relaxing weekend! That's definitely taking full advantage of your time. :)

I love the mixed blues in this outfit! That dress is fantastic on you.

  3. Sounds like you had the best kind of weekend possible :) Hopefully B won't stress you out too much and you both can enjoy the next few weeks of travel! Stay safe :)

PS - I have some commitments lined up for August, so I will have to pass on the PGA. Thank you so so much for the invite though! I'll try to follow you following Ian on TV if you get close enough ;)

PPS - I think I know which BR skirt you're talking about... white, with circle-y patterns? I wanted to try it on but thank goodness refrained because I have way too much lace/white/beige/crochet items already! No worries, there will be a skirt out there for you. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

You look very chic in your navy dress with the cardigan. I like the two blues together.
