May Flowers...in March!

The one good thing about instituting two shopping bans in back-to-back months? Getting the chance to blow your monthly budget in one fantastic weekend.

In addition to the dress I wore yesterday, I added another dress, a tunic, three pairs of tights, a couple of tops, and several pieces of jewelry (all on sale, of course!)

Included in my little shopping spree? This little day brightener...

I will MAKE spring show up early this year, I swear. 48 degrees and raining?

Not in my mind.

Dress: White House Black Market
Shoes: Nine West
Necklace: Old Navy
Bracelets: James Avery/Alex and Ani

  1. I love the necklace with the dress. It's just that perfect bit of color! I gotta say, I love black tights too!

And thanks for the tip about adding color to my remix clothes. I realize while picking out my stuff that I really don't have very many tops (besides tanks and tees). I have sweaters, jackets, dresses... I really need to go shopping for spring tops after my shopping fast is over!

  2. Such a great dress...I cannot wait to see how you are going to remix it for the warmer weather. Looking forward to seeing what else you bought

  3. I absolutely adore this dress! And the necklace is great. I have one I picked up from ON awhile ago that is very similar - light grey with a punchy hot pink florette!

  4. Claire- I love my black tights, but i'll be happy when it warms up enough that I don't have to wear them anymore! And I can't wait to see how your remix goes :)

Randi- I'll have to bring out my new items slowly, to tide me over until Easter.

Taylor- I love ON for pretty, inexpensive jewelry! I always find something I want :)

  5. It must be in the air because I've totally got a case of the "wants." I need to stop buying clothes!

  6. That necklace is the perfect pop of color with that printed dress. Lovely combination for pre-spring!

  7. Emily- I swear, it's knowing that spring is coming. It's the same thing that made me wear short sleeves and shorts in college once the weather hit anything close to 60. Goose bumps? What goose bumps?

Kristen- Thanks! That pink color is rapidly becoming one of my favorites...and I'm not even a pink person :)
