My ABCs

So far, I've seen this done by Jess and Sarah, and, well...I wanted to play along! I kind of love these things. It's a sickness, I think.

A. Age: 31. (Although this will be changing in 10 days, but we won't talk about that, right now...)

B. Bed size: King.

C. Chore that you hate: Folding laundry. I have no problem doing laundry, but folding it and putting it away? No thanks.

D. Dogs: Two. Riley the vizsla, who is pretty, but dumb, and Peyton, the terrier/beagle mix, who isn't fat, she's just big boned...

E. Essential start to your day: COFFEE. And also, more coffee.

F. Favorite color: Green.

G. Gold or silver: Silver.

H. Height: 5' 2". And a half.

I. Instruments that you play: The piano. Sort of. Well, I used to be able to, anyway.

J. Job title: Financial Services Manager.

K. Kids: The lovely Miss Brigid.

L. Live: The A-T-L! Woo! (You may come kick me, now.)

M. Mother's name: Kathleen. Or Kathy, as her cousins call her. Hee...

N. Nicknames: T, maybe?  I don't know that I really have one, I guess.

O. Overnight hospital stays: Just that one time I was in there, givin' birth and all.

P. Pet peeves: Oh, everything annoys me waaaaay more than it should. It's something I should probably work on, I guess. My current general annoyances are people who don't accelerate quickly enough after the light turns green (Steve and I, NASCAR loving people that we are, refer to it as someone spinning their tires on the restart) (I never said I wasn't an idiot...) and my dear husband leaving his beverage can on the kitchen counter every morning after he pours himself a drink for the commute, even though he WALKS RIGHT PAST THE RECYCLING BIN ON HIS WAY OUT OF THE DOOR!!!

Q. Quote from a movie: "Hey look, kids, there's Big Ben, and there's Parliament!"

R: Right or left handed: Right.

S: Siblings: Two awesome sisters.
.
T: Travel favorite: Somewhere with a beach. A really, really pretty beach.

U. Underwear: Mostly VS, I think.

V. Vegetable(s) you hate: Onions. Do onions count as a vegetable?

W. What makes you run late: Everything. I am NEVER on time. It drives Steve nuts.

X. X-rays you've had: Just the general dental types, I think.

Y. Yummy food that you make: I...um...well, I guess I can make a good smoothie?

Z. Zoo animal: Panda bears. Always the panda bears.

Your turn! (And leave me a link to your post if you do this!)

  1. A. When people ask, just replace "old" with "young", so "32 years young" ;)

    D. Hahaha! Love the South Park reference

    P. Are you one of those people who honks immediately after the light turns green?! Lol, I'm one of the annoying slow people :D

    V. You can't possibly hate caramelized onions, right? So good...

    W. Ahh... I can commiserate with Steve.

  2. i totally need to chill out on the pet peeves, too...whistlers in the office, the hanging speakerphone dialtone while looking for the number (pick up the friggen phone!), when people kick the back of my chair in the movies, or someone shaking their leg on bleachers (hello...we can all feel that!).

    [oomph.]

  3. I never realized you were only 5'2"... I too hate folding laundry. I have no problem wearing something not folded but clean and in the basket, but the hubs wont wear it unless it has been folded and put away!!

  4. Hello Tara! Thanks for visiting my blog! Tis nice to meet you! I love these A to Z's- great fun and always provoke interesting responses- yours being no exception! I feel relieved you said that about getting annoyed by things! I've got lots of bugbears about things kids say at school, literally that drive me insane, like when they say, "Can I go toilet?" I reply, "Uh you're missing a crucial preposition," (Then they add the please. I cock my hand to my ear as if I have not heard and finally, if they're used to me, they'll finally add, "to the". It's such a little thing but it drives me INSANE!!!)
