Midi

I feel like a broken record these days, but once again, I'm up against a crazy week.

Today involves spending the morning at one office, meeting my mother-in-law at the pediatrician for B's two-year check-up, then spending the afternoon at the office on the other side of town. Wednesday is full of meetings. Thursday is another split office day, with an eye doctor appointment thrown in for good measure. And Friday, I'm flying to Omaha for a friend's wedding.

Am I exhausted just thinking about it? A little. But then again, I guess I'd rather be busy than bored, so there's that...

------------------------------

Question: How do we feel about the mid-calf skirt length on someone who is all of 5'2? I really do love this skirt, which I've had for awhile now, and I know the length is supposedly very much on trend for this year, but I'm still torn.

So, what do you think? Yes or no for me?

  1. YES! It looks great on you. Since you added the heels, it works! Guess what? We are midi twins today! ha ha! Heather

  2. 1. I like the midi on you. If you ever get tired of the length, you can always hem it up/get it tailored to knee length, too.

    2. Have fun in Omaha! If you get a chance (and you like falafel), you've got to try Amsterdam Falafel! http://www.yelp.com/biz/amsterdam-falafel-and-kabob-omaha

  3. If you are unsure about the length, you could always hem it :) It sounds like you are super busy, try and take some time to rest :)

  4. I think the skirt looks great on you. As a women of 5' 4", I am good with the midi skirt as long it is worn with some kind of heels!

  5. i honestly think the skirt is fine on you and if it's in fashion, its in fashion, and if you don't like it, you can always get the hem altered

  7. You have beautiful legs and figure, I think it is nice but would be lovely shorter :)

    (I'm 5'4", I buy petite skirts)

  8. Definitely looks right on trend and the heels are a great addition and must if you ask me. Still, there's nothing quite like a skirt like this one hitting at the sweet spot, just below the knee or just barely above the knee...for anyone at any height.
I would enjoy it at this length and then hem it later:-)

  9. as much as i like the idea of midis they just don't look right on me. i can pull of the maxi, but still need to find the right proportions for the midi. like everyone said, you can hem, or play around with the proportions?? shorter skirt, or something blousy and tucked in? or maybe play around with heel height, or try knee high boots under the skirt (i always loved that look)?
