Out on the Town

I love going out with friends for a few drinks on a Friday night. I do not love staying out much later than I should and having to get up the next morning to tend to a toddler. One of these days, I will remember that I am over 30, and late nights are not my friend anymore.

Luckily, my toddler is the most awesome toddler ever, and she understands the joys of sleeping in on the weekends, so it really wasn't so bad. I actually had a harder time dealing with my dear husband, who is apparently not on board with the sleeping in trend we're trying to start around here, because he got up at the crack of dawn to do yard work, before waking Brigid and I both up so we could go to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning.

I'm pretty sure he's trying to teach me a lesson or something...

  1. Cute dress!!! I really love it paired with those awesome wedges! Yes, indeed you look fantastic! Did you get all kinds of hit on? hehe

I went out with friends Friday night too. I got home around 1 (entirely too late for this momma!) and what did I find when I got there? Little Guy was sick! He had thrown up once while I was gone and proceeded to throw up three more times before morning! Needless to say... I was exhausted Saturday!

  2. love the way you styled that dress with the black and those killer wedges. My house is the opposite, the boys get up at 6:30 and the hubby sleeps until 11.

  4. Look how adorable you are with the color blocking! I love this!

You are NOT over 30. Really? Are we the same age?

One of my friends asked today about getting together and said something about any weeknight being good for her. Really? A weeknight? Because I'm old and that's no good for me.

Fridays aren't much better, to be honest.

Anyway. YOU are adorable. That's all. :)

  5. I'm not 30 yet and I don't have a kid, but I already can't stay up on Fri nights, hahaha. I shudder to think what I'll be like when I do hit 30. Sigh.

Colorblocking + wedges = you're so on top of trends for this summer :)
